Every manuscript submitted to the editorial office undergoes an Initial Review conducted by the Editorial Board. Manuscripts that pass the initial evaluation are then assigned to qualified Peer Reviewers and proceed through a Double-Blind Peer Review Process. Following the review process, the manuscript may be returned to the author for revision. The entire review process takes a maximum of one month.
For each manuscript, peer reviewers evaluate both the substantive and technical aspects of the submission. The peer reviewers collaborating with JPDK are experts in the fields of economics, business, management, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, Islamic economics, digital economics, sustainable economics, and related areas within the journal's scope.
All submitted manuscripts are initially evaluated by the editorial staff. Manuscripts that are considered by the editors to be unsuitable for the journal's scope, standards, or criteria may be rejected directly without external peer review. Manuscripts that are considered to have potential interest and relevance to our readership are forwarded to double-blind peer reviewers, meaning that the identities of both the authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
Based on the reviewers' recommendations and the editor's assessment, the editor makes the final decision from several possible outcomes:
Rejected
Major/Minor Revision Required
Accepted
The editor has the authority to determine which manuscripts submitted to the journal will be accepted for publication.
Manuscript Submission
The author submits the manuscript through the journal's online submission system.
Editorial Evaluation
The editorial team conducts an initial assessment of the manuscript. Some manuscripts may be rejected or returned to the author before entering the peer review process.
Double-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial evaluation are sent to qualified peer reviewers for an independent and confidential assessment.
Editorial Decision
The editor makes a decision based on the reviewers' recommendations and the overall quality and relevance of the manuscript.
Notification to the Author
The editorial decision and, where applicable, reviewers' comments are communicated to the author for further action.
